Skillet Garlic Shrimp with Basil and Olives (Recipe)


✅ 1 lb fresh shrimp

✅ 1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil

✅ 1/3 cup jarred spaghetti sauce

✅ Juice of 1 lemon

✅ 3 cloves garlic, minced

✅ 1/2 cup fresh basil, chopped
✅ 1 tsp oregano

✅ pinch of salt and pepper

✅ 1/2 tsp smoked paprika

✅ 1/2 cup pitted kalamata olives


1️⃣ Peel, de-vein, and rinse shrimp.

2️⃣ Mix olive oil, tomato sauce, lemon juice, garlic, basil, oregano, salt, pepper, and paprika together in a bowl.

3️⃣ Preheat broiler to 450 F. In a cast iron skillet, mix together the mixed sauce, olives, and shrimp.

4️⃣ Broil for 8-10 minutes or until edges of shrimp and sauce start to caramelize and shrimp are completely pink.
